This is a jar of rock...
Given to me as a end of term and leaving present from school in the summer. I am having a few issues. As my fingers do not reach to the sweets, how, yes, how am I meant to get the rock out of the bottom? Answers on a postcard (or failing that, via a comment) please.

Fill the jar with boiling water - wait for all the rock to melt. Then drain the jar into a shallow container. Stair the mixture, then freeze it.
This should leave you with a delightful rock ice lolly.

That's always an option. I'm looking at finger extensions at the moment though...
How about sugar tongs?
